September 9, 2020 - Opened the first of 6 bottles today. I was a bit underwhelmed by the wine. It may have been passed its best. Colour was a little dull, the nose offered some promise which was not fulfilled on the palate. No length at all. I’ll try another bottle over the next days, maybe it was just one bottle.?? Disappointing.

September 18, 2019 - A very delicate wine. Light bodied, pale colour, strawberry, plum on the palate. Good structure though. Medium length. This is a wine to appreciate slowly.

May 31, 2019 - At La Fortuna wine bar Rome from vinotech machine; can't remember which was better, the '04 Biondi Santi or this, which was surprisingly amazing. Probably the BS was better though! '11's are drinking well earlier.

November 11, 2018 - Opened this wine at Chao Shan Cuisine today to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday.

Brick red in colour with notes of fresh flowers and plums. On the palate this wine is delicate, with roses, raspberries, strawberries, cherries and a hint of tobacco.

Simple, delicate and charming, this wine pairs well with food with lighter sauces and steamed or poached items.
