October 20, 2015 - A week in Tuscany (and Lots of wines); 10/19/2015-10/21/2015 (Tuscany, Italy): But oh so cool. Served by the glass at Pitti Gola wine bar in Firenze, Italy. 10 Euros a glass. A really cool experience. How do you rate such a wine. 86 maybe on quality. 94 for the experience. Brown/ruby in color. The nose is dusty with burnt sugar and dried cherries. On the palate, slight cherries, more dried cherries and a bit of burnt sugar. Yet, quite smooth. Not particularly complex but certainly still alive and worth drinking. Good balance.
