November 4, 2018 - Uitgeschonken in twee verschillende glazen, werkelijk een andere geur. Mijn Riedel geeft fris fruit, framboos, iets roest. Een prachtige elegante PN. Zacht als een herfstdag. Heerlijk.

May 30, 2018 - Less translucent than other pinot noir, medium body. Very nice nose of cherries and raspberries. Soft tannins and good acidity. Not very persistant. A nice wine.

March 16, 2018 - Dunkle Noten, schöne Nase, rauchig. Auf dem Höhepunkt. Drei Tage lang getrunken ohne Vakuum. Ausgeglichen, mittelgewichtig. 13,0% = stimmiger Alkohol. gut! 2017-2022. Ca. 88 Punkte.

June 3, 2017 - Screw cap. The wine was medium ruby in colour and offered red fruit, forest aromas, mild vegetal notes, cola and spice on the nose. On the palate, the medium-spicy wine showed nice, cherry-driven red fruit flavours, forest berries, mild vegetal notes, coffee, cola, spices, liquorice and some vanilla, with medium-level acidity, well-integrated tannin, a good, creamy mouthfeel and very good length. A good, medium-bodied, broad, fruity, smooth and balanced Spätburgunder with well-integrated oak and good complexity. The tannin was much better integrated than a year ago and the wine drank well. I liked it.

May 16, 2016 - Screw cap. The wine was medium ruby in colour and offered red fruit, red cherry, bacon fat, vanilla and clove on the nose, complemented by a herbal touch. On the palate the medium-bodied wine showed red fruit, red cherry, roasted nuts, spices, vanilla and clove, complemented by some liquorice and mild herbal notes, with fresh, medium-level acidity, a nice, creamy mouthfeel and very good length. The medium-level tannin was still quite present, the wine benefited from aeration. A very drinkable Rheingau Pinot Noir. Would buy again.
