March 25, 2023 - The one with Bastards (ST Home): Oxidative bouquet with yellow fruits (pineapples and mango), bruised apples and hazelnuts on the opening with walnut skin and straw ensuing on the palate. Palate showed heft and concentration with just enough acidity preventing it from appearing flabby. I thought this was a little developed and recent experiences with Pierre Morey have led me towards thinking that his wines in recent times have perhaps been made to be drunk up earlier? Very different experience compared to the wines I've had from the 90s.

September 29, 2020 - Pierre Morey vertical 1989-2017 (Singapore/Zoom): Tasted blind. Pale lemon, greenish hue. Matchstick, great complexity, lime, very Coche in style. My style of Chard with searing acidity. Very Meursault Perrieres in style but with a bit more volume and complexity. Guess 2010. WOTN #2
