August 5, 2016 - 1993 Burgundy dinner. A special wine. Young and lightly effervescent, which lent very pleasurable mouth feel. Good acidity and lots of tertiary complexity. Retains good fruit and acidity.

November 21, 2014 - Nose of toffee and tropical fruits. Taste almost magical and dense. Ripe lychee and candylike tropical fruit flavors with perfect acidity. I expected a less youthful flavor with the toffee aroma, but the fruit is overwhelming. The bubbles were faint (but present) or I would score it higher. That said, the wine is so flavorful, full bodied and well balanced, the lack of bubbles hardly mattered. Very reminiscent of a 69 Lanson of similar age, although the Lanson was superior.
