August 19, 2022 - With chocolate torte at end of 82 Bordeaux tasting. Excellent way to finish. Drinking well

  • karpiron Likes this wine:

December 25, 2021 - After Christmas dinner, pulled a very delicate cork and decanted sediment. Served with home made fruit cake.
Amber color, wonderful mouth feel with lively acidity. Fig/ dried prune flavors and long finish.
    A treasure.

  • Thirsty1 Likes this wine:

September 9, 2021 - Still in the bottle with Tawny notes - dried fig and raisin. Held together well but nearing the end. Drink up.

September 8, 2021 - Covolo's Champagne Campaign (Casa Covolo): Bid surprise, thanks for sharing Chris. Birthday vintage bottle shared for CC's birthday. Agree with thirsty1, Dried fig and some raisin on the nose. Silky palate.

November 14, 2018 - Nose doesn't give a lot but it is fresh. Color is wonderful tawny. Texutre is syrupy. Flavor is all that Port gives, fortified wine. I have just finished a bottle of '85 Jordan and then a 2014 Kistler Chard and at 9:30 pm decided to open this Port while watching Veracruz. Perfect wine to finish the evening. Recommended,
