May 19, 2018 - Last bottle with similar experience to prior outings. Decanted for about 2 hours to let this open up a bit which was very helpful. This one is mature and ready to go, leaner styled for a Napa cab more in the bordeaux style. Dark fruits, earth, tobacco leaf and leather - good balance. It is not the most complex but still very enjoyable - paired with burgers.

September 16, 2017 - Popped and poured - similar to last experience, dark fruits, some dusty tannins on the finish. Well balanced and enjoyable. Ready to drink now but sure this will hold for at least another 5 years.

November 26, 2016 - Decanted and poured to glass - but would recommend giving 30-60 minutes of air to let it open. The nose is very nice on this, dark earthy berries and a bit of smoke. The palate is not quite as generous as the nose would imply though. At first was a bit restrained, but after a half hour started to open up a bit more. Dark fruits and forest floor, mature but not anywhere near over the hill. I will wait a few more years on my other bottles and decant longer.

April 17, 2014 - WCC 2004 California Cab Blind Tasting (Fort Orange Club, Albany, NY): Big smokey nose. Complex, smooth, with great balanced. Best wine so far to drink tonight. I think I really like these every time I have one.
