December 10, 2022 - I have finally broken into this box of Stagecoach, and I was not disappointed.
This is still a young wine with many good years left and a bit more integration of the tannins to complete. And, this wine needs to be decanted, which we did not do last evening.
Those comments aside, this is a beautiful wine of great richness and depth that is just beginning to come into its own. The aromas and the flavors are wonderful ,and the finish - it lasts a long time.
I you have this wine, set it aside for a few more years and then decant something quite special.

January 3, 2020 - This is a big and very enjoyable wine. It still needs a decant, but once it opens up, it is quite good. It has more than few years of life left to tantalize and surprise.
It is dominated by bright red fruit that coats the palate and provides a nice long finish. As you might expect from Paul Hobbs, it was beautifully balanced. It was also consumed with enthusiasm.

June 30, 2018 - Fabulous well balanced wine. Great purple color, viscous at edges. Cassis is ample on nose. Plenty of balanced fruit on the taste. Very long finish 30+ secs. Sweetness on finish. Has plenty more time.

April 13, 2016 - Best PH I have had in years! Deep purple color and tons of fruit almost perfumed nose. The wine is mouth coating, somewhat sweet but with a long delicious finish that is very very smooth. Really great showing!
