  November 10, 2022 - Tasted alongside the '95 and '97. Double decanted then left open for a couple of hours before consuming.
  
  The most fruit-forward nose of the three by a wide margin. The fruit here skewed a little more towards red berries with plums and spice (pepper).
  
  The fruit carries through on the palate with fennel and tobacco. The tannins and acid found in the '95 and '97 are still here, but the fruit relegates them to a lower register. To my palate, this was the best balanced wine at this stage in their evolution.
  
  14.6% alcohol.

  January 22, 2012 - Robe de couleur: Bourgogne-orangée foncé; Bouquet: Chêne, datte, raisin sec, fruit confit; Corsé; Arômes en bouche: Chêne, violet, datte, chocolat, épice, Acheter au debut 2010 par Boss California, rafine, bien equilibrer, meilleur avec le temps dans le verre mais perd beacoup de longueur, nez un peu sur le bouchon

  January 25, 2007 - Favorite of a 12-wine Ravenswood tasting. Chocolate, violet, red fruit and blueberry. Not flavors usually associated with Zin which is why it was so nice. My favorite Ravenswood to date. Tasted at Vitis.
