March 29, 2024 - Light golden color. Floral, buttery bouquet, tropical fruits. Fat, oily texture, but surprisingly airy and elegant palate with a display of honeyed fruits, butter, pear, peach. Next to the 2014 Coteau de Vernon this appears young and vibrant with many years left. There’s pepper and curry notes. Grand vin and one of the best wine buys, still, for my money.

January 22, 2023 - Colour light golden. Nose is fruity, tropical, yet restrained. Very fine acidity in the attack. Fruit is rich, creamy yet there is pronounced elegance here, light on it's feet despite being quite typical for the genre. Tasted vis-avis the 2013, this is lighter, more elegant - as of now. Still young.

December 30, 2022 - A mid gold colour, looks rich. Nose of honeycomb, floral notes, peach and apricot. In the mouth this is big. First impression is of the stone fruit, honey, caramel and almond bitterness. There is low but sufficient acidity and the floral expression comes stronger on the exhale. This bitterness, is that phenolic? It’s giving a hefty frame for this wine. However the flesh on the frame is quite ample and in good shape. It paired with smoked haddock risotto and stood its own. I think this is good for a few more years yet. Really very complex and contemplative. Yum.

December 29, 2022 - Still going strong, I like the spicy finish on top of the pear and ripe white stone fruits. Med-full, alc. noticeable, clean and limpid. Well made, and drinking strong.

August 21, 2019 - Drunk over 2 nights in a great place, bright yellow with a strong back bone and understated floral notes. It had the grip to make it engaging. Slightly more open on day 2, suggests this has some way to go yet.
