February 19, 2017 - Light straw, fine bead. Mostly hay and herbs, a little yeast. Medium weight, noticeable wood. Dry, average acidity, a little creaminess but lacking intensity and tension. Not a great deal of fruit until some late orange oil appeared. Curious showing-more like a standard issue Brut than a Grande Marque. Not terribly moving in any event.
