  April 20, 2024 - Expressive nose with plums , black currants, oak. Medium acidity, dense red and black fruits with some forest floor, medium tannins, long ending with peppery notes, wood, and plum compote. Dried flowers here and there. A very good Zinfandel that went well with Beyond Meat burger. In a great spot now, as the boldness of the fruit has mellowed down and subtle secondary notes emerge. It might still evolve, and should go on well for many years to come.

  January 28, 2024 - Very good mature Zinfandel. Big brambly dark fruit, pepper with a mineral core. Well resolved tannins, a hint of vanilla. Long slightly sweet finish. Not sure if there’s upside but this hold for a couple more years.

  November 22, 2023 - Love the style that these wines are. Not overly sweet but delicious fruit with a long finish. Paired with red pasta sauce or pizza is a perfect meal.

  October 5, 2023 - Pop and pour, drank half the bottle over 2 hours. Dang, there's still a ton of fruit here, along with secondary flavors. This is at the border of my zinfandel stylistic preference. At least it isn't sweet and/or jammy, just in your face with vanilla, strawberry, licorice. 93 for what it is.
