January 27, 2023 - Typical Sicilian characteristics. Floral nose, firm but integrated tannins and strong fruit.

April 16, 2022 - Beautifully fragrant nose of cherries, flowers and baking spices, including cinnamon. Light refreshing mouth. Very long savory finish with citrus and tea leaf tannins and slight return to spices. Outstanding!

February 16, 2022 - Kevin's btl at Matt's pizza night. What can I say? I've had 8 of the '14 now and rated 6 of them 93 :). This is another Sicilian red I adore. Doesn't hurt that the winemaker owner is a colorful, passionate, hand waiving, character and very cute to boot. This is always vineyard fresh, alive and real with juicy weightless red fruit and loads of terroir influences. I loved this vintage from the start and I'm not backing down now. Surprised to see Kevin show up with one as I've never seen him bring one of these or write a note about it. Glad he did! All of mine were gone. My WOTN outside of my Henriot BdB champagne.
