January 10, 2016 - light garnet/ruby. some red berries, obvious alcohol heat, though it's only 12.5%. simple structure and light bodied, the good side is that there is no underripe greenness notes, which is what I worried most about before I opened it. an acceptable table wine, but too light as a HB red blend.
