January 26, 2020 - Very good storage direct from producer to cellar might have explained the lovely aging of this - not at all like previous uneven notes. Honeysuckle, with the bitter tang at the end, and some lychee and apricot notes. Not at all over the hill, but will head down soon.

March 12, 2015 - Dark golden colour, old before it's time/ Barley sugar, tropical fruit. Massive burn factor in the alcohol. Nothing to come from this wine. Very disappointing for a GC. Bought from Jim Nicholson in Northern Ireland who have a record of buying from disappointing wineries

July 21, 2014 - Nearly two years after my first note, this wine is still going strong. Not a lot to add: nose also has mango and despite its exuberant tropical fruits, it is still fresh, with high acidity, nose and mouth. Still long, possibly also due to high alcohol. Absolute stunning, only drawback is the high alcohol content. This wine still has a few more years to go, excellent!

April 11, 2014 - 10 years on, this wine may be the most distinct pinot gris i have ever had. intense colour of amber, mellow nose of lime and lychee with subtle notes of rainforest. you expect a startling sweet dessert wine and it is...not. tastes like a 2 year old sancerre but looks like a yquem. how did zind make this wine??
