April 25, 2010 - Paella, Cava and other Spanish Delights (Chez Christianne, San Francisco, CA): Light yellow color; lime, lemon, honey nose; tasty, mature, lemon, lime, mineral, lanolin palate; medium finish 88+ pts.

November 17, 2008 - another 89+, really. This was open for 4-5 days and it never gave in. If anything, it just kept getting better. Wonderful food wine, with fruit reminiscent of a SB, but better. Good acidity.

June 14, 2008 - Wine Crawl 12: Verdejo, Verdelho and California Pinot Noir (San Francisco): Quite aromatic, with floral aromas, green apple and tropical fruits, and a whiff of something like freshly-churned butter. Medium(-) acidity, with a lush, oily mouthfeel and perhaps a little residual sugar. With time in the glass the nose picks up a beer-y, fermentative note. I found this somewhat flabby and in need of more definition or structure on the palate; moreover, this bottle seemed to be past its prime. My 3/3, group's 3/3; tasted blind.

May 22, 2008 - Light yellow colour; nose of artichoke/asparagus boil; lanolin causing my mouth to water. Dry, almost tart, a tad out of balance, grainy with a little heat at end. Not especially pleased with the hot finish, burning at the end. Tart, bitter finish.

January 26, 2008 - Grapefruit peel dominated nose, with additional lemongrass, green herbs on the palate. Nice oily mouthfeel, and good length. Initially awkward, this benefited greatly from air. Update - thus held up very well in the fridge. The last glass 3 nights later was the best of all, rich and citrus-melony, not at all nutty or oxidized. I found serving temperature to be important; i enjoyed this most somewhere just below cellar temperature.
