October 22, 2022 - CV1. Mature garnet red, yellow edged, 5.5. Generous mature bouquet of forest floor, mushrooms, dark berries, complex. Harmonious palate, h-A, mT, mB, again dark fruit and spicy stuff, long elegant finish. Drink now-onwards

November 27, 2021 - Decent bottle. Dark fruited, coffee notes, polished. A modern expression of Hermitage. Forgettable.

November 30, 2019 - Much better than the last one. This is now a very soft, secondary N Rhone wine that is on the decline but still holding at the moment. Smoked meets, subdued dark fruits, black pepper. Tannins are melty. Not all that impressive but decent.

December 16, 2018 - Last of three bottles. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed in first two, but this bottle was delightful. Fully mature (but not past peak). Complex, secondary characteristics. Notes of dark cherry, sandalwood, and hint of anise.

May 4, 2017 - Côte-Rotie & Hermitage 1999 - chez moi (Frederiksberg): Cool, chalky nose; cool herbal taste. Gains richesse. 90+ point
