May 8, 2023 - I liked it but my bottle was really at the end of the drinking window. Garnet colour, a lot of wet leather on the nose and in the mouth, after 4 hours decanting it kept opening showing some varietals nuances.
Drink it now! -

June 27, 2021 - fruit fading and recessed compared to the tannic structure on this one, better with food, still a nice drop with food , rose petals, little balsam but would not leave it for more than 2/3 years to get the most out of it.
Decent but no wow factor on this one. -

September 3, 2018 - Served by our neighborly friends who hosted us with a late afternoon dinner party featuring grilled leg of lamb satay and smoked sliced leg of lamb itself. Had reportedly been decanted for five hours. Served in Riedel Vinum cabernet glasses. A medium garnet in the glass extending out to an orange rim. Initially shy nose features forest floor, red plum, and a touch of menthol. Silky palate entry, building in intensity through the mid-palate, leading into a long, menthol-tinged finish.
Overall, more advanced than I would have guessed. On Aug. 25, our local wine lovers group had a blind tasting of Italian reds that featured two 2011 Brunello di Montalcino that were much more youthful in character.1 person found this helpful Comment -

June 19, 2018 - Fantastic. Can't believe that I've had so little exposure to Antinori until recently and they are quickly becoming one of my go to Italians, second to Selvapiana. Delicious and ready to go.

May 23, 2018 - Color on the turn to tile-red, looks ready. Smell of forest floor, mushrooms, very strong. Smooth midpalate, tannins already soft. Looooong finish. Had it with pasta and sugo, followed by a cheese plate.
