  January 7, 2021 - A shame to see these unfavorable tasting notes, this bottle must have been well stored and fantastic!, after pooching the opening a little the wine went through some changes aromatically, definite age and complexity from the wood but the sweet red fruit was really pure, lithe texture with late wood tannin, leather, some barrel funk almost suggested this needed a good bit more air, cedar, celery seed, currant, cherry, a structured wine but delicate in the middle reminding me more of an older Rioja than Ribera but terrific and one you don't get to drink very often.

  May 25, 2009 - cork was rotted - wine was dark brown....there was still a bit of structure left, but this wine is in sharp decline.
