October 6, 2023 - I’m gonna drink my bond 2013 box this week lol. I’m going in the order of my favorites from the past. Vecina number 2 slot. It was excellent. Unfortunate it’s paired agains the 100 Pt PluribusI drank last night. Deep opaque ruby core. Black tea, grilled herbs, plum and cassis on the nose. Similar flavors on the palate but coffee and red fruits join. The tannins weren’t as silky as the Pluribus and there was an alcoholic “bite” but the wine was fabulous I’m splitting hairs here. Long finish got it an extra point to land at 95. Highky recommneded

January 2, 2021 - This bested a 15 Abreu Thorevilos, 13 Kapcsandy Roberta’s and 13 Poetry. The most approachable and elegant of the lineup really only needing a splash decant to open up. Still it’s very structured and could use 5-10 more years. Dark fruit centered with jammy berries, mineral/gravel, vanilla, tobacco, cassis... Heavier bodied but retains freshness and coolness.

February 3, 2019 - Ample and creamy yet also tannic, the 2013 is outrageously beautiful today. Raspberry jam, tobacco, smoke, dried flowers and herbs build into a crescendo of aromas, flavors and textures. Although the 2013 won't be ready to drink any time soon, it is simply thrilling on this afternoon. There is not much more I can say than that.

September 22, 2018 - This wine offered a complex, but muted, taste on the palate. While a very nice wine, I was a bit disappointed compared to other Bonds.
