September 2, 2023 - Pretty nose of plums raisins. Dense with medium acidity; figs, plums, pencil shavings, forest floor; grippy tannins still amd oak on the ending. Very good, still tight in my opinion but not sure this will improve much. Went great with Cheshire Appleby and Montgomery Cheddar.

September 26, 2021 - Very nice wine, but did not live up to my memory of it. Cork was pristine. Intense color and concentration. Still has the leather and tobacco that made it interesting a few years ago, but the acid correction has begun to stand out in an unnatural sort of way for a wine this age. It will probably survive for many more years, but it’s not clear that more time will pay many dividends.

September 15, 2020 - Cork crumbled. Wouldn't say it's completely dead but if this was stored properly then past peak drinking window. Not much to enjoy here.
