March 29, 2024 - Pours dark purple, almost black. Full bodied, big and bold. Plush on the palate with flavors of blackberry, cassis, mocha and cedar (or pencil shavings). Nicely integrated tannins on a moderately long finish. Drinking in its prime now, but clearly has plenty of life left.

January 20, 2024 - Needs about an hour to open up. Elegant fruits with a creamy mouthfeel. Slightly on the softer side, but it stood up well to our grilled meats.
