  January 5, 2023 - Opened 30 minutes in advance. Slightly annoying wax seal. Funky aroma of rhubarb with cherry underneath. Flavors of plum and apple up front, slightly sappy cherry finish with a bit of nail polish.
  
  As noted elsewhere, reduction (or whatever) on first opening which quickly fades with air. It's still there at 30 minutes, but barely. Once that clears what's left is a robust, fairly well integrated, slightly funky, but definitely pleasurable wine.

  November 7, 2021 - This bottle just as bad, so not thinking it's a flaw. Tastes like it came from an outhouse in the Loire.

  May 3, 2019 - Unbearably funky the first day. Thought perhaps some air would help. On the second day, it was so putrid, it actually made me gag.
