June 22, 2019 - Longlivebrunello tasting, the "La Paulee" of Montalcino, vin 4:

Magiskt att få prova viner som legat i perfekta förhållande hos producenten i 40 år!

Läder, trä, rosor, volatila syror, svamp, buljong, mossa.

Fortfarande fräsch, energi och bett kvar, silkeslen. 94p

May 25, 2016 - I have had this wine a couple of times now and each bottle has been splendid. The nose has some leather, smoked meats, cherries, espresso and black olive. It is fresh, dense and powerful in the mouth. The fruit has a decidedly savoury edge. Tannins are supportive but not overbearing and it has great presence in the mouth. It has an incredibly long finish.

February 13, 2016 - A perfect amalgam of fruit and earthy things. There are tart berries and cherries and as it takes on air some sweet cassis at its heart. You get a bit of cedar and tar and plenty of freshly tilled soil. It is deeply pitched with sinewy muscle. There are engaging florals that show as it breathes. A wine of great strength and character.
