August 9, 2016 - PnP out of refrigerator. Bright with tart strawberry, some wet rock, light on the palate. Some herbal notes. Quite refreshing with some grilled chicken, broccoli rabe, leftover pasta salad with Italian tuna packed in olive oil and black truffle burrata on crackers. With the pasta salad the wine shows tart strawberry, peach and lemony citrus notes. With the cheese and crackers the fruit is balanced more by bright acidity and wet rocks. With the grilled chicken the wet rocks and acidity are most noticeable with the fruit stepping back. Light and delicious through dinner.
