October 26, 2020 - Almost a year to date ago I was in the Atacama desert arguing in mongrel Spanish-Italian-English with some Italian dude that Carménère was grown in Italy. I was, of course, correct and this wine usually delivers quite nicely. Age is accentuated the Left Bank aspects with edges of pencil lead and a nice bright acidic spine, leading to red currants. Good succulence with a savory core holding the center. Shorter finish, a little salmon skin. All in all, really nice.

February 17, 2019 - Interesting - an Italian carmenere - and thats what it tastes like. Robust. Good for something different. Bargain at $11.

August 1, 2017 - Lots of iron-like mineral to the nose. Doesn't show at all green peppery. Aromas meld well with the grilling vegetables. Crunchy balance. VG example of this wine.
