August 18, 2016 - Plummy black fruit nose. The same fruit characters continue through the palate. It’s quite lush with just enough acidity and tannins to hold it all together.

February 17, 2016 - PnP. Clear purple violet with clear rim. Earthy plum and blackberry on the nose with a slight underbrush note. Medium(-) weight slightly gritty black teas tannins. Plum blackberry and an earthy herbal note on the palate. Nice and dry a bit lacking in the middle. Nice Wednesday night pizza wine.
