November 14, 2020 - Decanting three hour and a very very nice experience!

November 8, 2019 - It took almost 2 hours of decanting before the balance in the wine became pleasant. Suited perfect for a menu of goose.

June 7, 2017 - Flawless wine. All that you can expect from Rioja wine! Very good roundness, superb taste of allkind of berries and perfect roundness. Wait for 15 minutes and drink it. Just be sure not to over air it, it will spoil the freshness and it starts to taste like vinegarish after couple of hours.

March 21, 2016 - Still an intense ruby in appearance , this wine benefited from a 2 hour decant. The nose is of licorice, mulberries, stewed plums, crushed Mediterranean herbs, saddle leather, hints of chocolate, and vanilla. The tannins are only medium being softened by aeration, acidity is medium, and the palate continues with flavours of leather, dried herbs, and plums. A big wine that needs a decant at this stage, but which went perfectly with the punchy flavours of a Spanish-style
lamb stew, with sweet paprika, chorizo, and beans. Will keep for 5 to 8 years..
