June 4, 2023 - What a stellar wine. I'll be honest: I wasn't expecting much from this, but when the cork came out flawlessly, I began to get my hopes up. The wine was stunning on the nose. Red and black fruits and - for me - the perfect amount of oxidation. The fruit was so brambly and yet so fresh. I wouldn't have blinded this as a 24-year-old wine at all. I think it easily has another 5 years or more to go, though I think it's in an absolute perfect spot right now.

May 11, 2011 - Nice I suppose if you are a fan of cabs. I have moved away from the oak.

February 6, 2011 - Balanced cab with some stuffing left in it. Dark fruit, tobacco, vanilla with good depth.

July 10, 2010 - Tannins dominating over the fruit. May have been more balanced younger

April 5, 2010 - Nothing like a really excellent Cabernet to round out an evening. A wine of this age deserves a decanting, and a little air, before drinking, but it's very rewarding to have done so. Mellow, rich, and almost melancholy in its hidden dark notes.
