  November 30, 2020 - Better than the bottle I had last year. I had lots of leftovers from Saturday nights dinner so I heated up some steak, ribs and brisket and opened this wine. I gave it a couple of hours open before we started drinking it and that along with the choice of foods probably made the difference. The nose is dark fruit. The palate is a mixture of blueberry and blackberry, some tree bark and white pepper. The finish was moderate to long.

  November 30, 2020 - Blackberry and boysenberry on the nose and palate with earth and whole cluster notes that opens up after a couple of hours of air. Moderate finish. Long life ahead.

  September 6, 2019 - We opened and hour and a half before dinner. The nose was all dark fruit. The palate was dark berries and white pepper with a hint of tree bark. The finish was moderate. Served with pork chopes baked in a dijon rosemary crust.
