June 11, 2021 - Rich, full-bodied with flavors of red fruits, blackberries, raspberries, and herbal notes including sage on the nose. Slightly acidic. Since we write historicals I’ve long wanted to try something made similarly to Ancient Greek or Roman wines. This wine is amongst the oldest wines in the world (though not this particular bottle, of course) so drinking it is like drinking with Thucydides. We raised a toast to our wise ancestors!

October 10, 2020 - still needs about 45min of air to be on its full game. Decent black berries throughout and still has grip on the finish. Even with air it was not quite balanced

February 3, 2017 - Popped and poured. Great nose of dark berries, Mourvedre funk, and hints of herbs. On the palate, lush with raspberry, plum, bright cherry, and herbs. Nice grippy finish with great balance. Tremendous value.
