Community Tasting Notes 3

April 1, 2015 - Taste blind, bright golden yellow, showing aromas of floral, pear, citrus and lots of minerality. Fresh and elegant.
Full and supple entry, amazingly a '01 white still has good structure, richly palate with some oiliness, still prominent oaky notes with ripe pear and abundant fruits. Medium acidity, long lingering finish and very good balance.

April 1, 2015 - This started off with a rather reticent nose. After some time in the glass with some coaxing and swirling, I could get white-flowers, citrus and with more time, some cream as well. On the palate, minerality took front stage. The finish was rather long too, just that it was marred by a slight tinge of bitterness towards the end. This should get much better with time in bottle...

April 15, 2012 - Filling in w/the Sunday Brown Bag Group (Rich's & Dana's): Fairly deep color. Notes of citrus, lemon oil, apple and minerals. Medium-bodied, the palate follows the bouquet, with added almond qualities. Fruit carries nicely through the finish.
