January 23, 2022 - Friends brought this wine to our BBQ and while I had enjoyed Taltarni in the past they had fallen off our radar. This old block cabernet was mighty impressive and I will seek to find some more.

May 13, 2016 - Dense, powerful nose. Closed, but a little more expressive than the 2014 Old Block Shiraz, with notes of blackcurrant, anise, blueberry, and oregano. Medium-bodied palate, with light, lively acidity balancing the strong fruit (sweet blackcurrant) and oak (vanilla fudge).
