Community Tasting Notes 1

March 30, 2016 - Black in color with a half inch pour. The nose shows luxuriant fruit flavors of black currant, blackberry, and black cherry. The wine coats the mouth with firm tannin, bright acidity, dense black fruits that collectively walk an almost impossible line between between being grippy dry and caressing. Would be a great ringer in a tasting of Howell Mountain Cabernets. An outstanding wine to age years longer, and a strong candidate for the greatest Cabernet Sauvignon made in Italy.
