Community Tasting Notes 1

    March 4, 2018 - R&J Housewarming Party. Screw-cap. Pop and poured.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow gold colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of cream peach, lychee, rambutan, citrus lemon, slight exotic florals. Developed.
On the palate, off-day, medium acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), full body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet cream peach, citrus lemon, lychee, rambutan, mangoes, slight stony minerality. Medium finish.
Very good quality. Balanced and fine example of an off-dry Gewurztraminer. Survived well for a New World Gewurztraminer. Time to drink up, no point ageing any further.
