March 30, 2024 - Deep purple color. Black cherries, chocolate and leather with floral hints in the nose. Black cherries, blackberries, plums, and chocolate in the flavor. Balanced, medium to full bodied, not a lot of complexity or nuance, and a medium to long finish. I'll hold off a couple of years to open the next bottle and see if it develops some more in the bottle.

January 21, 2018 - I served this in my wine course. Nose is a bit subdued with faint raspberries and baking spices. Mouth is excellent, and very elegant with moderate weight and a sense of darker pitched fruit in the direction of cherries, but also a hint of dark chocolate. No sense of heat on the finish. Very nice. Just wish the nose were a bit more open.

August 19, 2016 - This bottle will be good. Smooth with a nice fruit beginning. Needs 1-2 years to firm up the finish.
