Community Tasting Notes 10

September 24, 2017 - Truly a food wine, not for afternoon sipping in the park. Extracted, approaching syrup-y, for a rosé, but good depth and a long finish where its Pinot Noir-ness comes through. Better now than a year ago. Certainly could wait a couple years too.

Paired with grilled shrimp and grilled beef tenderloin.

August 5, 2017 - Bright, crisp, refreshing summer drinker, paired well with grilled steak.

April 27, 2017 - Inspired by the warm Spring day to break out a rose...first bottle of the 2015. Chilled, PnP.

Deep salmon pink color. Nose was tight w some red fruits and orange peel. Palate of sweet red fruits, strawberry, bing cherry, melon and wet stone. Rich mouthfeel, more viscous than your average rose, but not too much. Sweeter profile, very enjoyable, a lot going on with this wine.

Slightly less acidity than the 2014 and more viscous. Evolved a bit in the glass over the hour we drank it, may be one of those (rare) rose wines (IMO) that needs to air out...

April 15, 2017 - For a Rose its got some moxie. Good fruit but also good acid. Great finish.

April 10, 2017 - Nice acidity. Cherry and earthy notes. Slightly funky.
