  March 1, 2023 - This has evolved beautifully since last tasting it in February of 2019. Brooding and savory, but with such an elegant presence of black and blue fruit, sandalwood, cocoa, and a whiff of fennel. It shines in the mouth, it's bright and edgy, with blackberries, plums, and plum skin on a structured bed of tannic persistence. A lick of salt laces the long, sapid finish.

  December 14, 2020 - w/smaller amounts of Syrah, Grenache and other Rhône varieties. 1-1/2 hr. decant for some chunky sediment. Purple. Inky purple. Nose muted (not a flaw, just a fact). Huge mouthful of wine with good balance, went well with food. Long finish. One of my favorite Petite Syrah but not sure if I would buy this to hold. I don't think it's going anywhere for a long, long time.
