August 6, 2021 - If not for a distracting amount of VA on the nose, this was a splendid bottle with plenty of mature, smoky, rich fruit and balancing tarry acidity. Alas, the VA was an unpleasant distraction from an otherwise excellent mature Brunello.

Colour Deep blackberry with a brown rim.
Nose Complexed nose of mixed roasted spice/herbs, leather, smokey cherry.
Taste A real cracker !! Full body, smokey, black berry layers which develop a warm spice note with great length indeed 9.5/10
