March 16, 2024 - Soft, ripe, elegant, with a touch of sweetness. Attractive, light to medium weight claret which is good now but should keep well. Decanted for 2½ hours.

November 11, 2023 - Mid-red colour; the palate has ripe fruit and a slightly savoury, slightly earthy character; medium weight at best, with some fine tannin. Should improve over the next few years.

July 22, 2023 - Très bon, mais un peu moins que ma dernière bouteille. Étrangement plus fermé autant au nez qu'à la bouche malgré le même 30 minutes de carafe. Il a nalgré tout évolué dans le verre.

July 16, 2023 - A nicely made St Estephe from a vintage I'm quite fond of. Notes of blackberry, forest floor, a little cassis and cigar box waft up on the attractive nose. Nicely textured, concentrated and balanced on the palate this is nearly at maturity and will cruise for at least another 5-6 years at least. There's quite a bit of complexity and elegance on display along with that subtle power you find in this part of Bordeaux. Quite modern in style this is a good value Claret that's worth seeking out. I'd love to take a look at the 2016.

Quel délice et un beau moment.
Je crois qu'il est ou sera à son max maintenant jusqu'à 4-5 prochaines années. A partager!
Le nez 3 fois, la bouche 1 fois: le ratio-régal !
Je l'ai même préféré à l'excellent St-Julien de lundi. Décanté que 30 minutes puis étiré une heure et demie en bonne compagnie.
