October 6, 2020 - high toned, tart cherry, star anise - seems young. High quality wine that develops well in the glass. This was very good with pasta and meatballs. My wife loved it. I enjoyed it, but it is a little more tart than I like for pasta. Might pair better with mushrooms or salami and cheese

June 10, 2017 - Red fruit, asian spices, flowers, and herbs on the intriguing nose. Pronounced but soft tannins with good acidity, more red fruit, and übrige cherries on the palate. Nice finish.

The elegance and grace of these wines amazes me every time I pull a cork. It's not just some mix of fruit and tannin, but an experience that transcends the grape. I really should not finish a bottle on a Monday night, but the wine is too compelling, too complete, too easy to sip and enjoy moment after moment. These wines are hard to source, but like all great treasure they are worth the hunt.
