January 29, 2021 - Medium-deep ruby color. Smells like dark and dark red fruits, licorice, crushed rocks, and graphite minerality. Medium body, acid, and finish, with pretty consistent flavors. Forward, but not obnoxiously so and it has some balance. Perfect with our black bean burgers tonight, and beef ones would also be a good call here. 87-88

August 15, 2020 - Fresh berries on the nose with a hint of licorice. Decanted first 2 hours and the nose turned to a bouquet of fresh roses. On the palette, fruit forward with dark fruits. Mostly blackberries but turning to blueberries on the long finish.

October 16, 2019 - Enjoyable the first night with solid fruit but no staying power. Undrinkable 24 hours later.
