April 13, 2023 - Getting somewhat pruny and the fruit is browning further. Perhaps like the Chateauneuf. The 2004, at this late stage, is a much better wine. Past peak, and certainly time to drink up.

December 17, 2020 - Starts to display tertiary aromas of leather, smoke, mushrooms, while still there is the garrigue spicy aspect. Nice attack and good presence on the oalate. Quite long finish. Ready to drink.

January 19, 2020 - This has aged just as well as most Châteauneufs and it is awesome right now. The fruit is now darker and deeper, there’s notes of dates and figs providing complexity and interest. Pure and local, garrigue in spades, pepper, tannins almost resolved. Will keep. Lazy afternoon at La Contadine.

87-88 pts
