August 20, 2023 - pop and pour. light ruby color with a fair amount of orange bricking. nose is predominantly savory with some alcohol, dusty rock, smoke, chewing tobacco, and cooked cherry. palate is light and fresh. good acidity. cherry syrup and red plum flavor. loads of dusty tannin dry out the back. good grip but so fine. medium length finish. a tasty and elegant wine drinking at peak today.
