January 20, 2020 - Was a pleasant if slightly geriatric version of this wine. Not as sweet as expected. Drink up whether you're thirsty or not.

March 28, 2014 - Mini Lunch Offline with some Honey's (John's House, Mpls, MN): Medium gold color. From 375ml, PNP, drank 2 oz pour over 30 minutes. Very pleasant, spices, citrus, caramel, vanilla, peach, light body. Doesn't have the depth or persistence, but a very good showing from a 2nd label favored by the vintage.

March 28, 2014 - Lunch Offline (Minneapolis, MN): Drinking really well right now with apricots, ripe peaches and minerality. Balanced overall with nice acidity. Drink now.

July 30, 2013 - The wine looks Amber colored. The legs are Slow. It smells like and Mineral. The body is Full. The wine has Silky texture. The wine finishes Long.

March 10, 2013 - Minneapolis Wine Spectator Offline (Fire Lake Grill, Minneapolis MN): A complex Sauternes from an excellent vintage. The color was slightly lighter than expected for a 2001. The flavors were well developed, but when drank alongside the 1966 Krohn Colheita this Sauternes was perhaps not unsurprisingly blown away by its raw power and depth of flavor. Still, this wine paired very well with the butterscotch dessert.
