April 16, 2024 - Wine of the evening at a Clos Vougeot 2005 horizontal. Lilac and strawberries with a long and velvet mouthfeel. Well balanced and structured wine.

December 12, 2023 - Salon Ficofi Paris walkabout tasting and dinner, no detailed tasting notes. Coming into its prime. Tannins have melted, still very present but well integrated.

May 11, 2023 - Perfect stage of development. Some tertiary flavours but fruit still present. Closed nose to begin but opened. Not as much expressive character as I would have hoped but very powerful. Bottle variation?

April 2, 2023 - This is textbook mature Vougeot. Balance, grip and that smell. What's not to like? I'm sure if this was the 2010 vintage it was the ironfist in a velvet glove

July 27, 2022 - Not quite as fresh as previous bottles. Very good though and quite softened given the vintage with dark blueberry and cherry fruit and a lovely layered effect on the finish.
