December 31, 2022 - Red fruit, green herbs and a bit of earthy sweetness. Sharp acidity and smooth tannins. Faded quickly.

Cocoa, vanilla bean, cherry and clove. Enjoyable on the palate but missing a bit of structure, perhaps lost due to age. Still very enjoyable -

Semi-opaque garnet, a little dull, just starting to show some brick at the meniscus.
Jane caught some sweetness in the nose. I thought it was quite subdued - pretty standard chianti. Likewise the taste was pretty much what you'd expect from chianti, nothing special but serviceable. -

October 4, 2018 - Un Chianti correct mais sans trop de personnalité. Les descripteurs typiques y sont pourtant : amande verte, rose rouge, chocolat, cerise mais l'ensemble manque de charme. Un brin tannique et acide. Bref, rien de très mémorable et à plus de 25$ plutôt cher pour ce qu'il offre.
