September 27, 2015 - Excellent syrah. Deep color. Floral and almond notes. Requires filtering; quite a bit of sediment. The Community Drink dates are completely wrong, as is often the case. This wine is still in its prime in 2015.

August 1, 2010 - pat and i shared this bottle with nunzio and fernanda during a visit to their apartment in boca. paired with chicken and filet mignon off the grill. the bottle was opened at the table 20 minutes before eating. this wine has put on some weight with another 8 months in bottle since last tasting. flavor profile is the same as last note but everything hangs on a more substantial frame. there is still some sweetness but it went well with acidic dressing on the meat and the salad. might even add one year to longevity. will look for this wine again.

January 1, 2010 - enjoyed at home with pat in boca. when first opened, it was a bit disappointing with very limited sensuality. after an hour, it started strutting. the nose remains shy. but, in the mouth there is lots of black cherry. it begins to firm up and add weight. still, i would have with light fair. there is a sweetness that needs to be matched with sweet and sour foods. it seems that this wine is still developing. i am adding one year to longevity. after all, 2010 is here.

June 27, 2009 - Really excellent, good QPR. Huge nose of earthy, black currants, black pepper in the mouth. The finish is long and satisfying. Great with pizza! Laetitia is one of my new favorite California wineries.

March 1, 2009 - Surprisingly big and bold character. Pepper spices fill up the mouth, and the finish is quite long and balanced.
