April 23, 2024 - Agree with other comments that it is good spot now.
    Very balanced with long finish.

December 27, 2023 - Last bottle. Tannins resolved and smooth with restrained fruit. Cassis, dried cherries, long finish. Peaking? But enough structure and strength to go a few more years.

December 21, 2023 - Magnum. Opened and decanted about two hours before serving. Served to a group of 8 for dinner with grilled vacio. Paired very nicely. The decanting helped round out the wine. This was a really nice "crowd pleaser", not super complex but with enough inherent sweetness and depth that everyone liked it, in a group that is mostly wine novices. I very much enjoyed it myself. Good QPR for folks that enjoy good wine but might not appreciate more expensive bottles. Medium body and mouthfeel, soft tannins.

April 1, 2023 - Blackberry, white pepper and some tobacco on the palate. Dark indigo color, full bodied and medium legs. still a bit tannic so the drinking window on this is just opening. About 90 minutes of air and this softens nicely.

February 8, 2023 - Tons of dense crust on the bottle.
    Opaque deep purple
    Dark fruited aromas.
Still quite dense on the palate.
This has shed it baby fat, yet completely unresolved leaving it in a touch of an awkward phase. Tons going on so I have high hopes, but if opening one now, I’d absolutely vigorously decant. 91+
