  November 21, 2023 - We canted for a good hour but really the wine is ever so youthful still and albeit welcoming it is only showing a small part of its capacity. Bright, herby, spice and dark fruited nose , intense and still very much on the fruit. Would have loved some earthy complexity here but we don’t see this coming in the next 5 years and once that kicks in then this will show the full potential. 93 for now but for sure it will be a lot more with 5 years of cellaring

  October 22, 2022 - Dark, chewy, and full bodied. Dark cherries and berries. Dark chocolate, black licorice and a bit of prune. Smooth with great structure and not too tannic. Don’t need food to pair with it, it’s great all on its own. That being said would pair great with French cheeses, steak. Drinking fantastic right now (might be peaking)!!

  May 8, 2022 - Occasional dinner group: A mixed set.. (@ Bouwkunde, Deventer): Beautifully sweet and lush bouquet. On the palate very tempting and creamy, ripe berries. beautiful acidity and round and soft tannin. Really delicious. Great wine!

  June 5, 2021 - This is an absolutely massive wine. Was worried about opening now, and I was right. I did double decant it over 6 hours before consumption with Brazilian churrasco. You simply must have something big like this to enjoy this wine right now, in my opinion. It showed better throughout the evening, but was almost undrinkable on open. I would sit on it, but if you drink now, decant 6-8 hrs, I think.
